Welcome to the Lazarus Union Kenia.
Lazarus Union International was founded in 2007 and acts as an umbrella organisation for various humanitarian and charitable initiatives.
It works with national and international institutions, NGOs and governmental organisations to carry out its activities.
When planning and implementing campaigns and projects, the Lazarus Union is guided by the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is committed to supporting and implementing the core values of the Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption within its sphere of influence.
In 2017, the Lazarus Union was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
THE AWARENESS NGO
We are committed to promoting awareness and understanding of important issues shaping our world. Through innovative campaigns, educational programmes and community initiatives, we aim to spark conversations, inspire action and effect positive change. Our goal is to empower individuals and communities with knowledge, empathy and resources to ultimately create a more informed, compassionate and just society.
In OUR OWN WORDS
Social engagement is the key to positive change in our society. Each of us can make a difference by standing up for the needs of others and showing compassion and solidarity.
"... a vision continues ...", so I ask you to continue working in the spirit of the Lazarus Union and its goals. Let us try to leave the world a little better than we found it. Everyone can do something!"
Social responsibility is the commitment to act in the best interest of society, ensuring that one's actions contribute positively to the community, environment, and overall well-being of others.
